Google+ vs. Facebook Social Network Match Up

For those of you who are frequent Facebook users, marketers, spammers, whatever you may use facebook for, it’s time to open a Google+ account as well. I am not telling you to replace Facebook, as I don’t see it going anywhere any time soon, but I am saying to add a huge network to your marketing platform.

Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, etc have all been great resources for marketing and anyone who has truly utilized these social media outlets knows this, so if you are at all hesitant about opening a Google+ account, you are only selling yourself, your company, your brand, your products short.

“What a day. In the space of a few short hours, Google+ wrenched open the floodgates, allowing anyone to sign up for the fledgling social network — while Facebook retooled its newsfeed so you won’t miss any of your friend’s vital updates.

Google+ managed to out-announce Facebook by a wide margin. The search giant offered a slew of new Google+ features, such as turning Hangouts into a bona fide broadcast platform. The search giant even added–you guessed it–searchto the service.” – Mashable

While I don’t think Google+ is going to make Facebook disappear or kill much of it’s following, they are at least trying to. Google is known for bully tactics and using their wealth and size to push around their competition and I very much doubt they are going to back down against Facebook.

Whether you are a “Facebook Forever” user, or someone who doesn’t frequent Social Media outlets at all, there is still no reason for you to leave this rock un-turned.

What do you think about the Google+ vs. Facebook match up? We want to hear from you.
